Car Nicobar, Feb 09: In a curious incident a tribal youth of Car Nicobar have been arrested for stealing online shopping packages from the Post Office of Car Nicobar.
According to reports the Car Nicobar Police received a complaint that on Saturday night someone had entered inside the dilapidated post office of Car Nicobar, located at Headquarter area, and stole nearly nine packages, containing online shopping items like goggles, mobile phones.
According to villagers, after receiving complaint a police team under the supervision of SI Mahesh Kumar conducted thorough investigation and arrested one 26 year old boy namely, Isreil of Malacca Village.
The accused was produced infront of Assistant Commissioner of Car Nicobar yesterday, from where he was sent for Judicial Remand.
