Port Blair, Feb 06: Continuing its drive against contraband substances and acting upon a tip of information, regarding transportation of illicit Ganja through a Courier service, a team of CID consisting of ASI Rakesh Singh, HCs Thimmiraj, Ibrahim Ali PCs Somen Biswas and Milton Baul laid a trap and succeeded in apprehending a person who collected the said parcel and recovered 02 packets containing about 2.3 Kgs of illicit Ganja which was sent from mainland. As such, the person namely Jayman Kullu R/o Prem Nagar who collected the parcel has been arrested from the spot and a case has been registered under relevant sections of law. Investigation of the case is in progress.
