Port Blair, Jan 30: The Andaman Chamber of Commerce and Industries in association with the Department of Sports will be organizing the MMT Andaman Marathon on Feb 1, 2015 at Port Blair. The event will commence on Feb 1 at 5.30 am from National Memorial Cellular Jail.
In this connection, an additional bus services will be made available from Ferrargunj at 4 am and from Guptapara at 4.15 am. The boat services will be available from Bambooflat jetty at 4.45 am for the convenience of participants and general public.
Meanwhile, in view of Andaman Marathon 2015 to facilitate the participants of Bambooflat and its adjoining areas the Directorate of Shipping Services will be providing special vehicle ferry service on 01.02.2015 (Sun) at 0400 Hrs from Bambooflat to Chatham. The participants of the above areas can avail the special vehicle ferry service on Feb 1.
