Port Blair, Apr 05: Panguni uttiram festival ( walking on sacred fire) celebrated today. Devotees flock in thousands to the Murugan Temple. It is also an important festival day for Lord Murugan as it is on this day that Sri Deivanai married Lord Murugan. The Festival was also celebrated at Diglipur and other Islands.
