Port Blair, Dec 24: A semi RCC house was completely gutted this morning at Lillypur area. The fire was reported at 12.40 am.
According to reports, the powerless house belonged to a fisherman and the cause of fire was reportedly a candle.
Fire Fighters responded to a call within 10 min. Three fire Tenders and one Water bowzer rushed to the spot and it took nearly one hour to control the fire. Luckily, no one was injured in the accident. The Fire team of lead by Inspector R K Singh.
