Port Blair, Dec 11: As part of the on-going Diamond Jubilee Celebration of the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association, a Blood Donation Camp will be organized by the Diamond Jubilee Celebration Committee in cooperation with the Health Department at 9.30 a.m. onwards on 13th December, 2014 (Saturday) at the Tiranga Park, Aberdeen Bazar, Port Blair.
This will be followed by an Eye Donation Camp and Awareness Campaign on Organ Donation at the same venue at 4 p.m. Family Pledge for Eye Donation collected from the willing persons will be handed over to the authorities of GB Pant Hospital on the occasion. Importance of eye donation and organ donation will be explained by doctors and others at the evening function.
