Port Blair, Dec 01: On the appeal of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Swachch Bharath, Bharathiya Janata Yuva Morcha with the presence of all committee member and workers conducted cleanliness drive near Raj Niwas Opp. to Working women’s hostel, Fire service Head Quarter on 30th Nov.2014 at 7.00am onwards.
The cleanliness drive was participated by a lot of workers, office bearers and other committee members such as Mr. Deepak kumar Jha, State General Secretay, BJP, State President, Mahila Morcha, State President, Minority Morcha alongwith party senior leaders.
Apart from that Mr. S. K. Roy, Forest Ranger incharge of Social Forestry division and the team of Forest Extension & Publicity Division, Haddo, Mr. Vijay Prasad Tiwari, Sanitary Officer, PBMC with the team attended the cleanliness drive. The main attraction of this drive was the children of Sai Yoga Education and Charitable Trust, Port Blair were actively extended their interest in the cleanliness of our beautiful islands.
Mr. K. Parmasivam, State Secretary, BJP and prabhari, Yuva Morcha in his concluding address expressed the need to convert the place as Children Park. The cleanliness drive was led by Mr. Abdul Kalam, Yuva Morcha State President (i/c) and Mr. Amit Malhotra, State General Secretary, Yuva Morcha.
