Port Blair, Nov 11: The Lt. Governor today said that once in a week Chartered flight service to Chennai will begin from December 20 and each ticket will cost Rs. 5000.
Addressing a large assemblage at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar auditorium at Port Blair to mark the valediction of both Cooperative Week and Qaumi Ekta Week, the Lt. Governor today said that thrice in a week flight between Port Blair and Vizag will start from December 24, 2014 and each ticket to Vizag will cost Rs. 5000. He said that Indian Airlines will be operating these flights.
