Port Blair, Nov 20: Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, the Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has visited the various schools on 19.11.2014 accompanied with Shri D.S. Dubey, DEO, Wimberlygunj and Mr. S.K. Modi, Branch Manager, SBI Bambooflat, for awareness of “Jan Dhan Yojana” scheme and its benefits, to the students, as launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.
Mr. B.P. Ray, MP has also interacted with the Principals, Teachers/staff and students of all these schools, who in turn expressed their happiness on the visit of Hon’ble MP to their respective schools, for interaction and redressing their grievances. The schools are Vital Public School, Bambooflat; Govt. Sr. Sce. School, B/Flat; Govt. Middle School, (Tapu Basti), B/Flat and MES School, Stewartgunj.
Dr. Alex Mathew, MO, CHC, Bambooflat, Shri Surinder Singh, Health Educator, CHC, Bambooflat who also accompanied with the Member of Parliament spoke on awareness on health hygienic importance and environmental impact under the Child health care Programme, to the students”.
