Port Blair, Nov 16: The 8th Death Anniversary of Comrade R. Pious D’silva, former President of the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association and former President of CITU, A & N State Committee was observed today. A remembrance meeting was held at Crusade House, Phoenix Bay at 6 p.m. today the 16th November, 2014 where speakers recalled the contribution of Comrade R. Pious D’silva to the working class movement in these islands. Speakers called upon the leaders and activists of working class movement to emulate the honesty, dedication and hardworking of Com. Pious.

Haridas, Shri TK Lasker and Shri DS Clement Steephen of Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association and Shri Stepehn Fernandez of Postal Union, Port Blair spoke on the occasion.
