Port Blair, Oct 22: The Andaman Nicobar State Cooperative Union in collaboration with Bapuji Primary Agriculture Service Society, for the benefit of the rural unemployed youths had started one year Computer training course at Wimberlygunj and on the occasion of successful completion of the course by the participants, it has distributed certificates in a function held at the office of the Society on 21 10 2014.
In his inaugural address, the Chairman, ANSCU Kuldeep Rai Sharma has congratulated all the pass outs who have undergone computer training organized by the Union and told that in today’s advanced world, everyone is using computers in some way shape or form. Computer literacy has become vitally very important in this era of information technology. Computers are used to easily file and record documents.
Without a computer one would have to process everything manually. With computers, one’s weeks of work can be processed or finalized in hours or minutes. Nowadays, with the use of email, people can send mail and receive letters in a matter of seconds. Learning basic computer skills benefits every body in so many more ways than we often think of. This knowledge makes everyone’s life a lot more convenient and organized.
He has also inspired those present in the function and who doesn’t have computer training by informing that, “It’s never too late, so go ahead and start learning some computer basics which is also a job oriented course especially in tourism sector and provides scope to start ones own job typing center by forming Self help Group and the team of ANSCU is always there to help the aspirants by imparting training on the subject”.
The certificates to the pass-outs were distributed by Kuldeep Mariyam Bibi and Shafique. Ms Mariam Bibi, ZP Adhyaksha,Shafique, Pramukh Ferrargunj Samity have also spoke on the occasion and lauded the efforts of the Chairman,ANSCU and its team. Shri Anant Rao, General Secretary, ANSCU has proposed vote of thanks.
