Port Blair, Oct 13: The Pradhan, Haringar Panchayat in Billyground, Mr Hiranmoy Roy has been selected for Sarasta Ekta Award for social services. According to information, the Secretary of Antarrashtriya Samrasta Manch, Mr Rajesh Saran Sharma, in a letter to the Harinagar Panchayat, has communicated that the award will be presented on the occasion of Ekta Diwas (World Unity Day) on Oct 19, 2014 for his contribution in the social service sector.
Antarrashtriya Samrasta Manch and Rashtriya Samta Swatantra Manch confers awards to eminent personalities for distinguished service in the field of Education, Medical, Judicial, Social worker, Industrial, Commercial and Political service. Selection is made purely on the recommendation of the active members of the organization.
