Port Blair, Sept 29: The valedictory function of Hindi Fortnight was organized by ICAR-Central Island Agricultural Research Institute on 27th September, 2014 at 10.30 AM in Seminar Hall under the guidance of Dr. S. Dam Roy, Director of the Institute. The highlight of the concluding function was the extempore speech which was delivered by staff members. During the Hindi Fortnight celebration, various events were organized for staff of Institute and farmwomen. The winners of different competition were awarded on the occasion by Chief Guest and Director of Institute, Dr. S. Dam Roy. He said that due to effort of staff members of CIARI, Institute has been regularly awarded on different platform for superlative work in Hindi. The Guest of honour Mrs. Ranjita Dam Roy expressed her happiness on active participation of the staff members.
