Port Blair, Sept 26: The Department of Art and Culture, Andaman & Nicobar Administration in collaboration with the South Zone Culture Centre, Thanjavur will organize “Island Theatre Festival and Folk Song competition from 24th to 26th October 2014 at Port Blair.
In his regard, Director Art and Culture invites applications from local theatre groups (Multi-lingual) and cultural associations to present 45 minute drama. Interested local groups are also requested to submit applications for participating in the “Folk Song” competition (Multi-lingual), Senior (18 years and above), junior (6 to 17 years). The duration of the song should be 5 to 7 minutes, the total number of participants in respect of Folk Songs should not be less than 10 Nos.
