Diglipur, Sept 26: More than 1200 students and staff of Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Diglipur have observed the Swachcha Bharat Saptah, 2014 to create focus on Hygienic and sanitation for the betterment of the people of Diglipur area.
On this occasion Shri Arava Gopi Krishna, IAS, Assistant Commissioner of Diglipur was the Chief Guest. The PRI members of Diglipur ware also present on this occasion. At the outset, the Deputy Education Officer, Diglipur Shri V.T.Reddy welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries of PRIs. The Chief Guest focused on total sanitation in and around Diglipur Tehsil and encouraged the students to educate the parents and villagers about the importance of cleanliness and sanitation. He also
said that cleanliness is next to goodliness.
In this occasion, the Chief Guest flagged off a rally from the school/ the students carried placards in their hands and gave slogans on cleanliness, hygiene and protection of environment. The rally covered Subhash gram bazaar and fish market area. After return back to school, the students along with their teachers carried cleanliness drive in and around their school premises.
