Port Blair, Sept. 10: The Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman District has administered the Oath of Office to the newly elected Panchayat Samiti Member Smti. Sima Sarkar of Vivekanandapur, Little Andaman Tehsil. Thereafter, an Election to the Office of Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti Little Andaman Tehsil (reserved for woman), was conducted in which Smti Sima Sarkar, Panchayat Samiti Member of Vivekanandapur Gram Panchayat was elected unopposed and declared as Pramukh for the rest of the tenure of the existing Panchayat Samiti, Little Andaman, South Andaman, a communication received here said.
