Port Blair, Sept 09: In yet another case of suspected food poisoning, nearly 25 inmates of Nirmala Boys Hostel were rushed to Pillar Hospital this afternoon.
According to reports, the management of Nirmala Boys Hostel had served Biryani today in Lunch but after consuming the Biryani, students complained about vomiting and uneasiness.
Immediately all the students were taken to Pillar Hospital. However, neither the students nor the hostel authority spoke to media. It is believed that the students were directed not to talk to media about it.
However, pillar hospital sources confirmed this report and said that situation was under total control and students were left after giving medication.
