Port Blair, Sept 09: ‘Food Festival’ is being organized from 23rd Sept, to 27th Sept. 2014 at ITF ground, Port Blair. Food Stalls will be allotted to the State/Regional Cultural Organizations/Local Community Groups located in A & N Islands to showcase their Traditional Food and Cultural milieu. The objective behind organizing such festivals is to popularize the ‘Indian Traditional Food & Culture’ of different States/Communities among the local people apart from providing entertainment.
Stalls at ITF Ground will be allotted on free of cost during the festival apart from providing free electricity and water supply. Suitable cash awards will also be given as done every year.
Interested State/Regional Cultural Associations/Local Community Groups located in A & N Islands may apply for allotment of stalls at ITF ground for the ‘Food Festival – 2014’ on or before 16/9/2014. Further information can be obtained from the Manager (Tourism) Ph: 233259 on any working day.
