Port Blair, Sept. 4: The Member of Parliament, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray has extended his best wishes to the teachers of the islands on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. In his message, he said that the teachers are called nation builders and they play a pivotal role in transforming a child into responsible citizens of the country.
Appreciating the efforts and dedication of the teachers of the islands, Mr. Ray said “our teachers are rendering outstanding services in the far-flung and remote areas of the islands with utmost dedication”. He wished that young teachers would follow the teachings of the great philosopher and teacher Dr. S. Radhakrishnan and contribute for the overall development of the children.
