Port Blair, Sept 02: It is brought to the notice of general public and Government departments that the availability of power will be restricted to 10 MW from 20 MW IPP Suryachakra Power Plant, due to the stopping of DG set for urgent maintenance, which will be carried out on 03.09.2014 and 04.09.2014 as intimated by the M/s. Suryachakra Power Corporation Ltd.
Hence, the Electricity Department will exercise approximately 45 minutes rotational load shedding from 5.30 PM in Port Blair and South Andaman area on 03.09.2014 and 04.09.2014 (i.e. 02 days only).
The schedule and duration is tentative and it may change without notice due to technical reason.
There will be load shedding in Garacharma Sub-Station area, Japan Nallah, Austinabad, Prothrapur, Corbyn’s Cove, Brichgunj, Brookshabad, part of Chakkargoan, Bhatubasti complete, Pathergudda, Satellite Colony, New Pahargaon, Shadipur, South Point, Mazar Pahar, Machi Line, RGT Road, Govt Press and JNRM College areas from 1730 Hrs. to 1815 Hrs.
From 1815 Hrs. to 1900 Hrs there will be power cut in CIARI, AKT Miniplex, Bird Line, Calicut, Kamaraj Nagar, Beodnabad, Rangachang, Burmanallah, Chidiyatapu, Light House Jn. area, Phoenix Bay, Fisheries Jetty area, Anarkali, Delanipur, Quarry Hill, Phongy Kyaung, Foreshore Road, Megapode, Teal House, Horticulture Road, Rajasthan Mandir, ALHW Colony, Hawaghar Jn., Dudh Line, Nayagaon, Bargat Line, GPRA Colony, Corbyn’s Jn., STS Workshop, BSNL Bhawan, Model School area, Fire Brigade, ANIIDCO Bhawan area, Girls School, CCS Aberdeen Bazar area, Supply Line complete, Netaji Stadium area, Electricity bazar site office, Jama Masjid, Netaji Club and part of Gurudwara Lane.
From 1900 Hrs. to 1945 Hrs. there will be power cut in Part of Dollygunj, part of Pahargaon, ICMR Colony area, Dairy Farm Junction, Lamba Line, Ranchi Tekery, School Line complete, part of Minnie Bay & Airport area, BSNL Telephone Exchange, Hotel Sentinel area, Carmel School area, Prem Nagar, Goalghar & Murdakhari area, part of Gurudwara Lane, Biggi Lane, Anthropological Museum Middle Point, Link Road, VIP Road, Police Line, part of Junglighat.
From 1945 Hrs. to 2030 Hrs there will be power cut in Shristy Nagar, Marine Hill, Dugnabad, Cellular Jail, Atlanta Point, part of Aberdeen Bazar, part of Junglighat, Vijay Baugh, Dairy Farm complete, CPWD Complex, Garacharma complete, Bhatu Basti, Pathergudda, part of Protharpur, New Pahargaon & Satellite Colony, Sipighat, Teylarabad, Bimblitan, Manjeri, Guptapara, Manglutan, Wandoor, Chouldari,, Tushnabad, Port Mout, Tirur, Templemyo & Ograbraj.
From 2030 Hrs. to 2115 Hrs there will be power cuts in Part of Garacharma, Dollygunj, Attampahar, Old Pahargaon, part of Minnie Bay, Mathura, Brindavan Ferrargunj to Jirkatang, Bambooflat, Hope Town, Stewartgunj, Kanyapuram, Wimberlygunj & Shoal Bay, Mohanpura, Babu Lane, Aberdeen Bazar from Ratnam Market to Taxi Stand, Aberdeen Thana & part of Gurudwara Lane.
From 2115 Hrs. to 2200 Hrs there will be power cut in Haddo, Haddo Wharf, Coast Guard Enclave, Buniyadabad, IOC, AIR, part of Prem Nagar, part of Junglighat (near School area) & Middle Point, part of Sipighat, Chouldari Lal Pahar, Tsunami Shelter, Mithakhari, Namunaghar, Dunduspoint & Hathi Tapu.
In addition to rotational load shedding will be carried out during day hours also as and when required on above mentioned two days.
