Port Blair, Aug 20: It is brought to the notice of consumers, general public and government department that the Electricity Department is in the forefront to improve and render better services to consumers particularly in rural areas. In this connection, the department will be going to introduce new “web-based” Electricity Billing Software at Bambooflat and Wimberlygunj site offices from 21st August, 2014 onwards.
Hence, all the electricity consumers coming under the Bambooflat and Wimberlygunj sites of the department are informed that they can make their electricity bill payments at all Common Services Centres (CSCs) at Bambooflat and Wimberlygunj as well as at CSC available at Port Blair and South Andaman area from 21.08.2014, onwards.
