Port Blair, Aug 11: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is conducting Entrance Tests for Management Programmes (OPENMAT-xxxvi), for the sessions starting from January, 2015 on Sunday the 17th August, 2014 on from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The test is being organized at IGNOU Study Centre (code 0201), JNRM Campus, Port Blair. The list of candidates has been displayed on the notice board of the IGNOU Study Centre. Candidates for OPENMAT-XXXVI are requested to download the hall ticket from the university website www.ignou.ac.in by entering Name and Date of Birth of the candidate and report to the Examination Centre with downloaded Hall Ticket.
The University has appointed Observers in all the examination centres to ensure smooth conduct of the entrance test. In case candidates are unable to download the Hall-Ticket, they can contact the Regional Centre and obtain the information of Examination Centre allocated and report to the Examination Centre with a proof of submission of Entrance Test application form along with recent passport size photograph. In such case they have to submit an undertaking at the Examination Centre stating that in the event of information furnished by them found to be incorrect, their candidature will be cancelled. Candidates must report at the Examination Centre 45 minutes before commencement of the Entrance Test. Use of mobile phones are strictly restricted during the examination.
University has deputed Central Observers in all the examination centres to ensure smooth conduct of the entrance test. Please note – due to operational reasons request for change of examination centre will not be entertained. For any information or queries regarding the OPENMAT Exam, candidates are advised to contact the IGNOU Regional Centre on or before the 14th August 2014.
