Port Blair, Aug 10: In a shocking development a breakdown Bus of State Transport Service was found helping employees in hiding stolen spring leafs from STS workshop.
Andaman Sheekha team found that at around 11.05 am the STS breakdown bus came out of the workshop and proceeded towards a scrap dealers shop at Phoenix Bay nearly N K International Hotel. Andaman Sheekha team also followed the Bus.
After reaching near the Scrap Dealer’s shop instead of going inside the shop, two employees offloaded two spring leafs and kept it inside the campus of Phoenix Bay graveyard.
While one employee stood on the other side of the road to guard the Spring Leafs, other employee and the driver went inside the Workshop of STS once again.
Andaman Sheekha team soon reported this matter to investigating agencies. By the time staffs of Investigating agency reached spot, the staff guarding the stolen material was not there. When staffs of investigating agency enquired about the matter with the scrap dealer he said that two people had approached him with broken spring leafs and wanted to fix a deal but he refused to accept those materials after which both of them left the shop.
This is a classic example that how government properties are stolen, part by part from various departments. As per rule no one is allowed to carry a single part of vehicle outside the workshop division of STS, even it is broken or damaged but in this case Breakdown Bus came to drop the materials. Amazing brotherhood !!.
