Port Blair, Aug 03: Acting on a tip of an information, a Police team comprising of Sub-Inspector Usman Ali, Constables Ashiq Iqbal, Nakul Halder, Sameer Ahmed and Home Guard Manoj Kumar Soreng of Central Crime Station led by Inspr. Solomon Samuel, SHO, Central Crime Station, Port Blair conducted a raid at Aberdeen Bazar near K. K. Guest House and arrested 04 persons namely G. Appa Rao @ Raju, Krishna, Shiva and M. Arjun Kumar all R/o Aberdeen Bazar, who were found gambling with playing cards and recovered Rs 26,255/- (Rupees twenty six thousand two hundred fifty five only) including Rs. 24,155/- (Rupees twenty four thousand two hundred fifty five only) of stake money on the evening of 01/08/2014. Later, they were challaned under the appropriate sections of law.
