Port Blair, July 23: A minor fire was reported from Phoenix Bay area of Port Blair this evening. According to details the fire erupted from a washing machine due to electrical short circuit. The Fire was reported at around 8.55 PM, following which the Fire Brigade acted very swiftly and doused the fire within no time, thus averting a major fire accident in city. Two Fire Tenders, one each from Marine and Headquarter participated in the operation
