Port Blair, July 22: A Fire accident was reported from Buniyadabad, Muslim Basti early this morning at around 1.30 am.
According to reports, the fire was reported from a bike, from which the fire spread over a car parked close to the bike. Both Bike and Car were kept inside the campus of a Wooden House, which also suffered a little brunt of the fire accident.
According to details the fire tenders reached the spot right on time and the wooden building was saved. However, the bike and car were completely gutted. As many as three fire tenders from Aberdeen and Chatham Fire Station reportedly reached the spot well on time.
Sources said that the Bike’s fuel valve was open and the wooden building’s electric meters were also in safe distance and hence it appears that the fire could be manmade. Investigators are however carrying out further inquiry.
