Port Blair June 30, Six persons have been arrested from near RGT Road for gambling and Rs. 40990/- gambling cash has been seized by the South Andaman District special police team on Sunday (29th June).
A Police team comprising of ASI M.A.Rasheed, HC Sanjay Kujur, PC Ashish Mallick, PC Rakesh Toppo, PC Sartaj Khan, PC Mohd. Imran and PC M.Raja Rao raided a place near RGT Road and arrested six persons namely Raju (27) yrs, DRM, PBMC, R/o Delanipur, S.Shyam Kumar (36) yrs, Tourist Guide R/o Nayagaon Dr. Colony, Debbrato Mirdha (32) yrs, R/o Memiyo near Shiv Temple, S.A. Salim,(32)yrs, R/o Dollygunj near Post Office, R.Raja (39) yrs, Pvt. Business R/o RGT Road and T.Ramesh (24) yrs, Tourist Guide R/o RGT Road from the den. They have been booked under the A&N Gambling Regulation.
