Port Blair, June 24: As a part of International Day Against Drug Abuse of Illicit Trafficking, the A&N Police conducted a awareness programme in co-ordination with “SATHI” a Society for Social Change today on 24th June. The programme was attended by DySP (SA) Mohd. Aslam, Mr. Mohd. Jadwet, President, Sathi, resource person Dr. Amitabh Dey, Swamy, Shudanand and Human Rights General Sectary Saravana and shared their professional views. Labourers and Auto drivers enthusiastically took part in the programme.
Apart from, hundreds of police personnel were also attended the programme and shared their view on alcoholism & its ill effects.
