Campbell Bay, June 18: On receipt of complaint on various issues pertaining to PHC Campbell Bay from the general public, the Pradhan Dharma and Samity Members of Campbell Bay gram Panchayat submitted the grievances to the Assistant Commissioner Mr Akhil who accompanied Panchayat members to the PHC Campbell bay and found that the food are being cooked in very unhygienic way.
According to a press release issued by Pradesh Congress Committee, the team reportedly found that patients are given rice, which is actually procured from local market at the rate of Rs. 10/- per kg but for the same inflated bills of Rs. 29/- per kg is submitted in hospital. Not only this, the garbage of the hospital is kept near the female ward ignoring safety of female patients.
The team also found that the patients are not served vegetable which is an essential food supplement. Beside the double door fridge purchased for the use of the hospital is being used by the Doctor of PHC at her residence.
The team noted that the toilet of the Hospital is in horrible shape. The release of PCC added that when contacted the Doctor to submit the matters before her by the PRI members, instead of listening to the Samity Members, the Doctor complained to DHS against visit of the Panchayat Members in the hospital.
