Port Blair, June 10: The Rajiv Gandhi Cooperative Training College [RGCTC], Teylerabad is an institution for excellence established by Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Union, Port Blair. The RGCTC was established on February 2012. The primary objective of RGCTC is to professionalize the Cooperative Institution by way of designing and conducting Management Development Programmes and thereby facilitate the promotion of Cooperative Movement in the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Since its establishment, the RGCTC caters the training needs of Cooperatives for HR development and providing consultancy services for the Cooperatives in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
To achieve the objective, the Rajiv Gandhi Cooperative Training College will start Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management [HDCM] approved by National Council for Cooperative Training, New Delhi. Applications for admission in [HDCM] a Post Graduate Diploma commencing from August 2014. The minimum qualification for admission is graduate in any discipline of any recognized university or equivalent as approved by Government for private candidates and their age limit should within 20-35yrs. The age limit will not be a bar in the case of applicant who are already in service and; their application should be routed and duly recommended by the Competent Authority.
The Diploma Programme aims to improve the managerial skill and sharpen the analytical and decision making ability of candidates.
