Port Blair, June 06: In recognition of her selfless dedication and exemplary public service in the field of tourism, especially in enlightening the visitors of Ross Island, the A&N Administration has appointed Ms. Anuradha Rao as Tourist Facilitator on contract basis for a period of one year.
Ms. Rao, a nature enthusiast, started her career as a guide in the year 1987. Apart from her vast and rich knowledge on history of Ross Island, she has developed affection towards animals and birds found there. She is also a recipient of Lt Governor’s Commendation awarded to her on the Republic Day in 2013.
