Port Blair, June 05: The PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chairman, PBMC to procure at least four air-conditioned Mortuary Vans. He has asked for this facility for the welfare of those poor people of these islands staying at far-flung places and are unable to pay for carrying the dead bodies to their residence or to the cremation ground. He has also requested to get all such Mortuary vans in running condition which are available with the PBMC and need repair.
