Port Blair/New Delhi, June 1 (IP&T/PIB) Lt Gen (Retd) A K Singh, the Lt Governor of Andaman & Nicobar islands called on Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India at 7 Race Course Road and briefed him on issues relating to the strategically important group of Islands, which are located 1200 kms from the mainland, and also sought the intervention of the centre to resolve long pending issues.
He conveyed greetings from the people of Andaman and Nicobar and also invited the Prime Minister to visit the Islands.
