Port Blair, May 27: The results of All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Class-XII) 2013-14 have been announced by CBSE on 26th May, 2014. Though results are officially awaited from the CBSE, as per the results downloaded from the website of CBSE, the overall pass percentage of class XII of A & N Islands stands at 74.69%. In 2012-2013 the overall pass percentage of class XII of A & N Islands was 69.22%. Meanwhile seven schools have secured 100% results.
Expressing happiness, the Lt. Governor has today twitted that “Class 12 results, admn run schools show 6 % increase in pass percentage, out of 7 schools with 100 % result, 4 are run by the admin, my best felicitations.”
According to reports available here Akshaj EP of KV-I have topped in All India Senior School Certificate Examination from Andaman and Nicobar Islands with 96.8 percentage, while Nivetha from Vivekananda Kendra Vidhyalaya stood second with 96.2 percentage. According to reports Neha Ann Varghese from Carmel Senior Secondary School stood third with 95.4 percentage in Class XII exams.
