Port Blair, May 13: The A&N Administration has initiated various safety-related measures for tourism activities in the Islands including small FRP boats, water-sports arid Jet ski, adventure sport; like Scuba Dive and sea walk etc.
It is however enjoined upon all the boat operators and operators of other adventure sports that they shall accord utmost priority for all safety-related issues, for which they shall be fully responsible and accountable. The Police and other law enforcement agencies shall also carry out necessary checks to ensure that all safety-related measures are properly adhered to. Periodic surprise checks shall be carried out at various levels.
