Port Blair, Apr 27: Govt Model Senior Secondary School, Mayabunder and its Feeder Schools celebrated its Annual Day on 25th April,2014, at Netaji Sports Complex, Mayabunder.Dr. R N Rath, Principal,MGCC , Mayabunder graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Mr. Aneesh Chatterjee, AD, CS&CA was the Guest of Honour.
The programme began with the welcome address by Mr. S. Keerthivasan, Principal. Mr. Joshi Philip, Seniormost PGT of the School presented the Annual Report. Later meritorious students in academics and sports were felicitated by presenting Medals and Certificates. A scintillating cultural show by the students mesmerized the audience.
In his address, the Chief Guest congratulated the students and teachers for their achievements and asked them to put in their best efforts in improving the stature of the institution and to set a benchmark in the Islands. The programme concluded with Vote of Thanks proposed by Mr. Om Prakash, PGT, Physics.
