Port Blair, Mar 06: The socio-cultural organisation Chetana hosts a Kavi Sammelan and Mushaira at Port Blair on 7th March. The Deputy Chief Engineer, ALHW, T N Krishna Murthy will be the chief guest on the occasion, while I A Khan, President, Daira-e-Urdu adab will preside over. Eminent poets and literary scholars from the islands will participate in the programme. Eminent Journalist and Associate Editor of Malayalam Manorma Hindi Edition, Pradeep Kumar will be the special guest, while A Dhanasekaran, Asst Director , Press Information Bureau and V Aboobaqer, social worker will be the guests of honour on the occasion.
This literary programme will now be held at Tagore Auditorium, Middle Point at Port Blair by 5.00 p.m. instead of JNRM college auditorium. The venue has been changed due to administrative reasons.
