Port Blair, Mar 02: The President of “Citizen Forum on Human rights” Mr. Keshab Barikdar along with the Joint Secretary Mr. Chandrashekar and Executive members recently meet with secretary to Lt. Governor, Mr. S.N Mishra and discussed about various representation given by the organization (CFHR) in last couple of months to the Lt. Governor and highlighted diverse problems and issues of North and Middle Andaman as development of Rural Areas, Roads & Transport, Telecommunication Service and functioning of Panchayats at Village levels.
CFHR also highlighted that the organization is working towards the Promotion of Human Rights (Under UNHRD) through Education and awareness program since 2011 and it has been receiving Several grievance from Public and other groups pertaining to different departments and later discussed about the ” Formation of – District Human Rights Authority under the guidelines of National Human Rights Commission”‘ and sought suggestions from him on the same to process with the Lt. Governor & Chief Secretary of A&N Administration
