Port Blair, Feb 10: Following demands of the general public of the respective area, the Member of Parliament Shri Bishnu Pada Ray has undertaken more works under the MPLAD Scheme for the development of the area and laid the foundation stones and also Inaugurated the completed project in a simple function organized by the general public of the area.
Accordingly, the MP laid the foundation stone for construction of rural road and RCC Culvert from ATR main road towards Murdakhari, Uttara Gram Panchayat, foundation stone for construction of Youth Club-Cum-Dharmashala under R. K. Gram, Gram Panchayat and foundation stone for construction of Club for Seva Sang at Ward No. 1, Bakultala under Urmilapur Gram Panchayat during the last week.
The Member of Parliament also inaugurated a ‘dry cloths shed’ for laundry work at Dhobi Khana at Phoenex Bay, Ward No. 5 on Feb 8, a communication from MP Bhawan said.
