Port Blair, Feb 10: As part of the ongoing Diamond Jubilee Celebration of the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association, a blood donation camp was organized by the Diamond Jubilee Celebration Committee at the GSS, Junglighat last week. The Chairperson, PBMC, Shri K. Ganeshan inaugurated the blood donation camp in simple function which was also addressed by Shri Sadanand Rai, President, NGGOA. Dr Shahina M, CHS Specialist at GB Pant Hospital explained in brief the various aspects of blood donation. Shri TS Sreekumar welcomed the gathering. A team of officials of Blood Bank, GB Pant Hospital conducted the camp which concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Shri D. Ayyappan, General Secretary, NGGO Association, a communication said.
