Port Blair, Feb 06:The Member of Parliament, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray during his tour to New Delhi had discussed the matter of pay band of Asst. Conservator of Forest and Forest Ranger, with the Anomaly Committee of the Ministry of Environment & Forest. Now the proposal for upgradation of pay structure of ACFs and Forest Rangers has been sent to the Finance Ministry for their concurrence. The MP also met the Joint Secretary, Ministry of Finances recently to expedite the matter, who is said to have assured of considering the proposal of the Administration for up gradation of pay structure soon, an MP Bhawan communiqué said.
