Port Blair, Jan 30: As an interim measure to avert problems of tourists in visiting Ross Island, the Directorate of Shipping Services would be making arrangements to operate a government boat of 100 passenger capacity from Phoenix Bay Jetty to Ross Island. Preparations are on to operate two trips to Ross Island daily.
The details on date of commencement of service, ticketing etc. are expected shortly.
