Port Blair, January 23: Consequent to the meeting of the Lt Governor, Lt Gen (Retd), A K Singh with the Union Finance Minister, Mr. P. Chidambaram, Govt. of India has released Rs 10 crores as payment of salaries of the employees of Andaman Nicobar Islands Forest & Plantation Development Corporation Ltd; a communication has been received in this regard. The Lt Governor has expressed his satisfaction.
