Port Blair, Jan 23: The third day of meeting of the District Planning Committee for South Andaman District chaired by Miss. V.K. Mariyam, Bibi, Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman resumed on 23rd January, 2014 at 9.30 am to discuss and deliberate the draft District Annual Plan (2014 at 9.30 am to discuss and deliberate the draft District Annual Plan (2014-15) of South Andaman District.
During the meeting the sectional plan proposals/schemes of South Andaman District (including Campbell Bay) and various major issues on developmental activities under various departments viz. Statistics, RCS, Transport, Shipping, Port Management, Revenue, Civil Aviation, Police, PBMC and RD, PRIs & ULBs were discussed and recommended by the committee for consideration by incorporating the same in their respective Annual Plan (2014-15). The meeting ended successfully with a vote of thanks to the chair.
