Port Blair, Jan 22:Under the provisions of Rule 7(d) (iv) of the Excise Policy & 9(i) of Bar Guidelines issued by the Administration vide order No.4192 dt. 18.11.2008 respectively the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman district orders the following day to be observed as Dry Day in connection with Republic Day.
Dry day to be observed on 26.01.2014 (Sunday)
No liquor shops, hotels, restaurants, clubs and establishments selling/serving liquor shall be permitted to sell/serve liquor to anyone whosoever on the aforesaid day.
This order is applicable to IMFL vending licencees i.e. ANIIDCO, CSD Canteen, all Defence Canteens, Police Mess and all private bar licencees.
