Port Blair, Jan 08: The President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee will be visiting these Islands from Jan 11 to 13, 2014. In honour of the President of India, The Port Blair Municipal Council is organizing a Civic Reception at Netaji Stadium from 3.50 pm to 5 pm on Jan 11, 2014.
In order to facilitate the people to attend this programme, the PBMC will provide two buses each covering all the Municipal Wards to bring the general public at the place of function at 3 pm on Jan 11, 2014 and back to respective wards after the function is over.
The Chairperson, PBMC, Shri K. Ganeshan on behalf of the citizens of Port Blair and Members of the Council has appealed everyone to attend the civic reception. People have been requested to avail the transport facilities provided by the Council from their respective wards.
