Port Blair, Jan 02: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today appealed General Public to cooperate with the Police Department during the President of India’s visit to maintain law and order situation in Andaman and Nicobar Islands as well as for security reasons.
Addressing a press conference, the Dy. Superintendent of Police (CID) Mr. Subodh Kumar Gosawmy today told media persons that during the forthcoming visit of President of India Police personnel may ask for identity proof from some public, which is a routine drill, for which General Public must not worry.
