Port Blair, Jan 03: The Department of Agriculture, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, will be participating in the forthcoming Island Tourism Festival 2014 scheduled to be held from 14th to 24th January 2014. As a part of ITF, department will organize Flower Show on 14th January 2014 at Organic Horticulture Farm, Sippighat.
During this Show, competition will be held under the categories viz, Potted plants, Cut flower arrangement, Dry flower arrangements, Rangoli and Bouquet & Garland making The Competition of Bouquet & Garland marking will be held on 13th January 2014 at 3 PM to 4 PM at. OHF, Sippighat. The Bouquet & Garland making competition is exclusively for the Farmers and they should make arrangements of bringing the materials required for participating in this competition.
The competition for other categories of Flower show will starts from 8.00 am on 14th January 2014, For each category the time allotted will be half an hour.
The application forms for the competition will be available at the Zonal Agriculture office, South Andaman, Goalghar from 3rd January 2014 onwards on all working days. The participants should submit their duly filled application forms at Zonal Agriculture office, Goalghar, South Andaman latest by 10th January 2014.
