Port Blair, Dec 10: In the 66th National Track Cycling Championship held at Imphal, Manipur from 04th December to 08th December 2013,the Island ace cyclist Ms. Deborah finished her events with one more Silver in the final day in the Jr. team Sprint along with Ms.Tersina.
The Second Silver for the Islands has been clinched by the pair of Ms.Martha & Ms.Dayamaya in Senior team sprint.
The Cycling Federation of India has informed that 04 budding talents (1) Ms. Deborah (2) Ms.Martha(3) Shivraj (4) Arkaprava Baul of these Islands were selected for National Camp.Shri. Mohd.Iqbal,President, and Shri.V Ranjith Kumar, Secretary, A & N Cycling Association, Sports administrators and sports lovers had congratulated the Island cyclists and conveyed their best wishes in their endeavour to maintain consistence and to bring glory not only for the islands but the country too.
