Port Blair, Dec 05: Andaman and Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee has taken serious concern over the problems of the patients being faced by the people of Garacharma area, especially of the elderly patients who like to opt for homeopathy treatment, due to non availability of regular Homeopath Doctor in the Garacharma PHC.
Accordingly the PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Lt Governor to consider positioning of regular Homeopath doctor in the Homeopathy unit of Garacharma PHC.
In his letter Kuldeep has stated that the regular doctor posted in the PHC has left the PHC on 25th February, 2013 and till date no regular Homeopath doctor has been positioned there. Though there is an arrangement of visit of such doctor thrice in a week but rest days pharmacists are taking care of those patients who like to have homeopathy treatment. Since this arrangement has irked the patients, Kuldeep has requested for considering immediate positioning of a regular doctor in the PHC in its Homeopathy unit.
